每年的11月11日是美国的#退伍军人节#。正如#拜登总统#在本月早些时候所宣告的，在#退伍军人节#，“……我们纪念一代又一代荣膺‘美国退伍军人’称号的爱国者们——这是一枚勇气的勋章，它将世界上最优秀的一群退役军人团结起来。因为他们无私的牺牲，我们的武装力量铸造并捍卫了美国这一理念本身——一种对自由与平等、民主与正义、可能性与希望的承诺。我们欠他们的那样多，是永远无法完全偿还的。”

Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11. As President Biden proclaimed earlier this month, on Veterans Day “…[W]e honor generations of patriots who have earned the title of ‘American veteran’ — a badge of courage that unites the finest group of former service members the world has ever known.  With their selfless sacrifice, our Armed Forces have forged and defended the very idea of America — a promise of freedom and equality, democracy and justice, possibility and hope.  We owe them an incredible debt that can never be fully repaid.”
